    Days Of Our Lives

DAYS OF OUR LIVES (2/25 Update)
"Shawn and Belle reconciled at the crash site and decided to forgive each other and moved forward with their lives. Marlena and John made love, but Marlena said no more "lovin" until John could truly remember that their love was special. The Brady, Johnson and Black families were rescued from the crash site and transported back to University Hospital in Salem. Caroline, Roman and the remaining Brady family learned that Shawn Sr. had given his life to save his children and mourned his loss. Kate and Victor were suspicious of Chloe who was Philip's new interest. Anna demanded respect from Tony as he was baffled at how to win back his love. Kayla was ordered to bed rest so as not to risk losing her baby. Stephanie was thrilled at the news that she was going to have a little brother or sister. The Brady family learned that Bo was very ill and awaiting a diagnosis and treatment plan. Bo was brokenhearted over Shawn Sr.'s death. Victor offered his support to Bo and Caroline after learning of Shawn's death. Steve became agitated after he received a note from a woman in his past who he thought may have sabotaged the plane. Steve was afraid that she would harm Kayla in order to get back at him. The residents of Salem were shocked to learn that John and Stefano were half-brothers. John decided to take his rightful place as a DiMera and moved into Stefano's mansion. E.J. was not anxious for Sami to file for an annulment."

    As it's a political year...

The Political Gauge is a political test that measures where you stand on the political spectrum. Unlike many tests that simply measure whether you are liberal or conservative, the Gauge places you on a two-dimensional grid consisting of fiscal and non-fiscal issues by taking a look at your views and the depth of your beliefs.

    My results?
On Non-Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Centrist (50).

    Ready for Spring

That's it - no more winter blogging for this gal. I just can't take it anymore - bring on spring!

I have all my Chicago Cubs stuff out and on my desk at work, the daffodils (fake, but still beautiful) and now have my computer desktop done in Wrigley Field in springtime.

So... I had to change my blog look as well. Anyone else cheering on summer??

    Patience

Ever have moments in your life you know you'll get through, but tend to weigh the heart down anyway? I'm at a period of my life in which I'm finding that challenge, but I know with HIM above and my family and friends we'll get through.

"Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience." James 1:3

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged,  for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:9

    Pressure Changes

Here we go - another winter storm. That means that the pressure is dropping and my joints are screaming. Of all things the muscles in my upper chest across my collarbones are like guitar strings and are hurting quite a bit. Going to try a heating pad to try to get them to calm down a bit more.

I am getting back to going to the hospital pool for aquatic therapy again on a regular basis as my back has been flaring up quite a bit and I want to get that pain level back down. I know the cold along with shuffling as I walk across the ice isn't helping things. Argh.

Hope you are all warm and happy. *hugs*

    Happy Valentines Day!

Today my DH surprised me at work with a bunch of balloons and a kiss. He's such a sweetie. I've been so very, very blessed to have him in my life as both my husband and my best friend.

    Love ya babe!

    Happy Birthday, Bubba!

Yup, it's our furball's birthday today. He turns 11 and has spent the day sleeping, eating and laying around the house doing a whole lotta nothing. So - pretty much the same ol, same ol. Ah the life of a cat. :)

    Happy Birthday, Tristan!

    Argh, Sick.

I've been battling something like a head cold now for a couple of weeks and it's just not going away. On Monday they gave me Amoxicillin 875mg twice a day to help me out and now I'm draining like mad - which is a good thing... but now I'm sneezing, coughing, my throat is on fire, the tubes from my ears to my throat hurt like heck, my eyes hurt and I have a headache.

If anyone has gone through this and has some good ideas on how to suffer through - I'm wide open to possibilities. But right now all I want to do is drink a gallon of orange juice and go home to sleep for about four days. *sigh*

    2008 Super Bowl

What an AWESOME game and huge congrats go out to Eli and the Giants! I went with Dan to a "co-worker" sponsored Super Bowl Party and we got to sit around and chat, eat and goof around. I sat and stitched most of the time while the guys would disappear downstairs to race RC cars once in awhile. It was low key and a lot of fun. Here's looking forward to next year ... and if my Chiefs are in it I'll send anyone who comments on this thread $10. (Ok... maybe not - but it's just that much of a long shot it is that they will get there! *hee hee*)
